I have always dreamed of stepping into the prestigious store of Louis Vuitton, but I never had enough money to actually purchase something. When I decided to get my mom a wallet for her birthday, I was a bit intimidated to walk in. I've heard horror stories about kids my age walking into the store and being treated very rudely because the employees thought they were going to mess around (I have had the same experience as Swarovsky in the same mall).
However, the experience was quite the opposite. The employees were super nice and very helpful in deciding on which print to buy. I browsed the store online and decided that my mother would appreciate either the Josephine or the Emilie wallets, but I walked in unsure of which print. The wallets come in the classic monogram, Damier Ebene or the Damier Azure. I told an associate that it was going to be a gift for my mother and he recommended that I get the classic monogram because based on his experience, is what the older generation tends to gravitate towards.
I love how none of the associates where pushy and did not try to coax me into buying other items, or push the sale. Though the store was crowded (for a high scale shop, that is), the associates did their best to juggle a couple of customers at a time, which I appreciated. One of the associates even asked for my blog urls, so shoutout to MEDHI!
Overall, I loved the experience (my credit card would differ) and I would love to own something from there one day!
